Second feedback from the German group

Since it's our last day in london, we want to recap the last days.
After we watched badminton in the arena next to the Wembley Stadium,
our next day, unfortunately, did not include any olympic events.
Nevertheless, we had lots of fun. In the morning we came together in
small mixed groups and created new olympic disciplines. They included
a lot of difficult and even funny tasks. One was a mix out of football
and cricket; an other one included running a parcour without loosing
water in a cup, held by the athlete; the third created sport was a
little bit like football with four teams who had to score in the goals
of the others and one team is out if a goal is scored against them.
The last team on the field wins. Last but not least, one team created
a raley, including different stations with excercises like rolls,
sit-ups and so on. After lunch, we then came all together and just
competed in these disciplines. It was very entertaining for all of us,
the Germans and the English. In the evening, we went to a German
evening, where we got food and drinks and enjoyed being together with
German officials and organisators from the German part of the
exchange. Around midnight we left the place and had some time to
experience London at night.
On Tuesday, we went to Go Ape, a high rope course located next to our
camping site. Climbing through the trees was great fun and everyone
completed the courses. Afterwards we had some spare time in London.
The group split up and the smaller groups went for different
activities, going from sightseeing to shopping. In the evening we went
to the ExCel arena to watch volleyball. Especially for the Germans, it
was a great experience, because it was the quarterfinals and Dimitri
Ovtcharov was competing for the German team against Michael Haze from
Denmark. The atmosphere was great in the arena and there were lots of
people cheering for each of the competitors. In the end, Ovtcharov
won, and we were really happy for being part of this great atmosphere
and watching a match, where a guy from a youth exchange participating
country won.
Today after breakfast we split up in three groups, one group went
golfing on the driving range and two groups went horse riding.
We look forward for the evening, where we will go to Earl's court
watching women volleyball.

Alex, German participant.
